The Fall Play 2011 was "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" adapted by Rex Stephenson from the novel by Mark Twain. Twain's original novel, published in 1889, is the story of a blacksmith who suffers a blow to his head and travels back in time to King Arthur's Camelot. The play has been updated and a modern day computer programmer travels back to King Arthur's court after a computer blows up. Mr. Breski was the Director.
All crew members were on stage as part of the cast and some cast members play multiple roles. Costumes were designed by Mrs. Biron's class. Since some cast members were multiple characters, the costumes included simple changes so they could go from one character to the next without a full costume change. Mrs. Donovan's class worked on the set and figured out how to manage all the scene changes. Mr. Breski's Engineering class created special effects.
Show dates were Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19. |
